The examples used here are based on listening to and using Te Reo Māori with people predominantly from Ngāti Kahungunu ki te Wairoa and Tūhoe.
Te wiki tuatahi (week 1/ 21 July) – āpōpō/tomorrow
Ko te aha te rā āpōpō – What is the day tomorrow?
Ko te Rāatu āpōpō – It is Tuesday tomorrow.
He aha te huarere āpōpō – What is the weather tomorrow?
He rangi pai āpōpō – The weather is good tomorrow.
Ka kite āpōpō – See you tomorrow.
He aha tō pirangi kai āpōpō – What do you want for kai tomorrow?
He mīti heihei mō te kai āpōpō – Chicken for tea tomorrow.
