Hi everybody. My name is Kelly Doyle. I’m from Nuhaka and I just explained my pepeha which included the sea, the mountain, the river, the tribe, the sub tribe and all the people that I identify with in my rohe or my area. With the Maori Language Week, Te Wiki o te Reo Māori coming up, I have a little waiata which basically says that you need to speak Māori language all the time – in the day, the night, anytime you can, and it’s on a CD that was put out by Hirini Melbourne who is from Ngāi Tūhoe and it basically just goes
Korero Māori E,
I nga wā katoa,
I te ao i te pō,
Korero Māori E.
Kia ora mō tena,
Kakite.
