On the 9th of November last year Henry Hill School was impacted by local flooding and, once again, we found ourselves working from home. Despite this, provision of services and resources continued. We became fully operational again towards the end of Term 1 2021. A positive outcome has been that we were able to select many lovely new resources, to replace those lost, and these are now being enjoyed by ākonga.
Our local ākonga have continued to benefit from DOM specialist input, provided by Niki Di Mattina. The BLENNZ Napier team continues to appreciate the opportunities to upskill in this area. RTVs are currently supporting ākonga through a variety of DOM programmes including cane skills, road crossings, and travel within schools and the wider community.
