During the April school holidays BLENNZ Napier teamed with the Blind Foundation to host a children’s activity day. Seven primary aged learners took part in a range of physical, social, and ADL activities. The day began with some ice-breaker activities before the group headed to an indoor activity centre where they enjoyed a range of physical and social opportunities.
After working up an appetite the children were involved in making their own pizzas for lunch. They had a lot of fun preparing their own toppings and chatting to each other over lunch. In the afternoon the group played a range of collaborative problem solving games as well as team ball games. Everyone had a great day and are keen to repeat the experience again soon.
